With strong community values and a reputation for innovation, Torquay College students enjoy a rich curriculum in a stimulating, safe and supportive environment. Our 1050 students are actively engaged in developing critical thinking, technological and communication skills to equip them as 21st Century citizens.
From foundational numeracy and literacy skills, to an international exchange program, LOTE-Indonesian teaching, and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation program, we engage students in their own educational and emotional learning journey. We do this through contemporary inquiry-based learning, which is supported by a highly motivated teaching team and strong ICT, Science, Sustainability, Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts Programs.
Our facilities include an Environment Centre with aviary and wetlands, a student-managed cafe, an edible garden and chicken house, art studios, rehearsal/recording/film editing rooms and a number of outdoor sports facilities.
Our values and programs reflect the high priority and commitment of our parents and community for excellence in a positive and caring environment.
