Welcome to the Library

Torquay College Library is a warm, welcoming, safe and secure environment which students love to visit. It is extremely well resourced with current, relevant and engaging books. Students have a 30 minute scheduled Library session each week and it is open every lunch time from 1.15p.m. to 1.45p.m. We also have parent resources available to borrow and parents are most welcome to visit. The library is open every day until 4.00pm for families to visit.

In the Library we have been discussing  Non Fiction resources and the Dewey Decimal Classification System.

One of the beautiful books we featured was "The Big Book of Birds" by Yuval Zommer.  It inspired Mrs Sayers and her class, B6 to complete some beautiful artwork and they collaborated with Lesley in the Library to complete these wonderful owl collage pictures.
