School Council Meeting 15th May, 2019

Much discussion regarding the safety concerns of the staff car park, particularly 3pm pick up at the rainbow gate. It was agreed immediate action must be taken to prevent serious injury.

School Council resolved to proceed with asap -

• A letter to the Shire requesting action on a crossover/separate entrance where parents’ cars enter car park

• Staff be encouraged to utilise the car park to its full capacity

• Create a footpath and drop off zone south of rainbow gate

• Painted lines to indicate where cars can drive

• To allow best flow, parents using the car park should be encouraged to utilise both roundabouts instead of turning right out of car park and right into car park

The Intercultural Chinese program will not be operating in 2019 due to insufficient numbers.

• Year 3 Swimming

• Year 4 Sovereign Hill
