Get Ready for National Simultaneous Story time!

Alpacas with Maracas are about to take Torquay College by storm.

All over Australia on Wednesday 22nd May in Libraries, Schools, Pre-Schools and on radio and television, the book by Matt Cosgrove Alpacas with Maracas will be read at 11.00 a.m.

This is to promote the importance of reading aloud to children of all ages.

Studies have shown that 10 minutes exposure to reading each day is all it takes to positively shape you child's future.

Not only for academic achievement but to develop empathy and emotional intelligence, allowing your child to better understand people and the world around them.

This is especially important in today's connected world.
