Rockpool Ramblings

March 12, 2019

This term, the Year One students are 'Living and Learning by the Sea!' To learn more about local marine life, we jumped on some buses and drove over to Point Lonsdale to explore the rockpools where we saw periwinkles, crabs, anemones and limpets. We also went to the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre in Queenscliff where we got to play in the 'touch tank' and see some marine and freshwater animals in the aquarium. D1 and D3 joined together to wrap themselves around the lighthouse!

The students, teachers and volunteers had a great time and learnt a lot about our coastline and the creatures we share it with.
