Celebration of a Nation

In Year 4 we have been investigating the First Fleet and First Navigators, as apart of our Inquiry unit. The students researched a person on the First Fleet or a First Navigator and completed a factual narrative letter based on their character. They came to school dressed as this person and created a living history museum, where they presented to family and friends. In the afternoon they learnt some bush dances with the Billy Tea Bush Band and had a fantastic time!
