Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre

This term, the year three students are investigating 'Watharong, People Who Belong to Water' as their Inquiry unit. On Tuesday 21st August, all grades head out on an excursion to Narana. While we were there, students discovered indigenous flora and fauna, learnt how to throw boomerangs and listened to a wonderful presentation about artefacts. Some highlights from the day included hand feeding emus and wallabies, tasting lemon myrtle and listening to the didgeridoo.
