Our bands & circus rock the stage at Costa Hall

August 15, 2018

The buzz on the bus on the way in to the annual Geelong Schools Music and Movement Festival is always palpable, with this year no exception. 58 performing arts students represented Torquay College with a high level of enthusiasm, exemplifying school values and reaping the rewards of their hard work. Our four bands (the Talented Ten, Electric Current, High Voltage, and the Solar Sisters with special guests the Satellite Dance Crew) and our Circus Troupe all dedicate their lunchtimes to practising their skills, and their outstanding performances today made all that effort worthwhile.  Major shout out to everyone in the office, especially Carol and Mary for their help in coordinating this excursion, and kudos to Bron Miller and Tracey Vaught for taking on the Circus Troupe challenge this year.
