Mad Day This Thursday our Grade Six students will be running 'activity-based stalls’ to further their practical understandings of business concepts they have been learning; including budgeting, advertising, marketing, profit and loss. Over the last few weeks we have had heaps of fun finding out more about our classmates' favourite things and all of the interesting places they have visited before. In our Maths sessions, we have used survey questions and created tally charts, pictures graphs and bar graphs to collect all sorts of information about the kids in our grade! What a fun day the Foundation students had visiting Fairy Park today. They loved listening to and learning about lots of fairytales in Fairyland. Some of their favourite stories were Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid and Rapunzel. The students were also able to see how stories can be retold in different ways.

The D-Dazzlers (D6 & D8) performed at assembly on Friday in front of many friends and family. They sang and danced up a storm to "We Are Family," as they have been learning about families.

Year 2 students enjoyed learning about fractions by making their own paper pizzas. As a follow-on to this, we used real pizzas for the students to work out what fraction of the pizza they would get to eat.

Our Drama Club is busy setting up the stage and getting into character, and excited about presenting our version of Into the Woods - Brothers Grimm stirred up by Sondheim with a dash of Shakespeare. Every class in the school has contributed by creating a tree during Art.
